
Product Manager - Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
About the Position
The Product Manager role reports to the Director, Product - RCM, and this person will contribute to defining the vision and strategy of the product in collaboration with product leaders. He or she is responsible for the development of product requirements that are essential for our client's operations.
The successful candidate will have the ability to comfortably communicate with various teams and partners and will be at ease in every phase of product development.
They will also be able to organize and lead a diverse group of stakeholders in order to design solutions and execute product initiatives. They will collect feedback from customers and prospects in order to recommend product improvements.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry, trends, customers, and competition to quickly identify opportunities and act on them
- Work with the leaders to create product roadmap and milestone and work diligently towards achieving those
- As a champion of the product work with cross-functional teams like sales, implementation, marketing, and support to identify ways to make our product better
- Able to identify cross-functional dependencies and work towards alleviating them in a timely fashion.
- Act as “Voice of Customer” and develop a deep understanding of the market, and product needs
- Gather and elaborate requirements and design for various product features and enhancements in form of epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Develops and/or assists with launch messages, including release notes, training material, and marketing/ support materials
- Be an evangelist for your product and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to make it a success. Presents product demos to customers and other stakeholders when needed
- Supports the sales team with new and existing features to identify and solve client problems and establishing a value proposition
- Groom, manage and prioritize backlog to fulfill most pressing needs on priority while keeping an eye on the upcoming work
- Manage and support go-to marketing strategy and drive product adoption
- Research, evaluate, and prioritize requests coming in from various customer-facing teams
- Manage the entire product life cycle strategy with clear goals, initiatives, and road maps
- Drive product release plans with detailed schedules, phases, milestones, and launch dates
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with various stakeholders including but not limited to engineering, marketing, sales, implementations, and customer success
Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management experience in the SaaS world
- Experience with Healthcare Revenue cycle systems and operations a plus
- Knowledge of Clinical and Billing functions. Experience with behavioral health is desired
- Prior experience as an Agile Product Manager
- Quick learner, ready to take initiative, problem
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal handholding and able to effectively manage resources to meet deadlines
- Thorough understanding of business and customer requirements and the ability to translate them into features and requirements
- Team player and leader, Organized, strong management skills and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously
